SECAUCUS, NJ [Sept. 12, 2012] – Fedcap CEO and President Christine McMahon and Vice President, Facilities Management Steven Coons met Wednesday with Frank Dominici, General Manager of SMG Exposition Services, and Robin Cuneo, Regional General Manager of the Meadowlands Exposition Center (MEC), where Fedcap provides janitorial services.
“Fedcap provides top-quality facilities services at a very competitive price, and we are proud to partner with them to create jobs for Americans who face barriers to employment,” said Ms. Cuneo.
SMG manages a worldwide network of entertainment and convention venues. Fedcap’s contract at the MEC, which began in April, already provides jobs for nine individuals with barriers to employment who care for the busy center’s 61,000 square feet of exhibit and professional trade show space.
Fedcap provides facilities services at 70 prestigious locations in the Northeast, caring for 18 million square feet of property that includes the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, the LIRR at Penn Station and the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center.
“We’re delighted to bring SMG and MEC the value of Fedcap’s facilities services,” said Ms. McMahon. “This is the beginning of a wonderful relationship.”
Ms. McMahon also visited the Fedcap booth at the White Rose Retail Selling Show happening at MEC on Wednesday. Fedcap Business Development Manager Ayia Gospodinova explained Fedcap’s facilities and staffing services to the trade show attendees, who included food retailers and manufacturers from across the tri-state area.
