The Food Art Center is a Kitchen with a Mission. It is a professional trade school where the food industry will find well trained students with a broad base of skills, knowledge and experience. It also fulfills The Fedcap Group’s mission to provide innovative solutions, while creating opportunities for people with barriers to economic well-being.

Meeting the staffing needs of business requires an understanding of the diversity of jobs within the industry. We have designed hands-on training, with input from food industry leaders, that ensures the development of required skills. Graduates arrive with an understanding of what an organization needs, and the training and skills to meet those needs.

The Food Arts Center is home for vocational culinary arts training and social enterprises. It has a state-of-the-art kitchen that is used for training, catering services, as well as being used for cooking demonstrations and guest chef appearances. It can also be rented to serve as an incubation space for food entrepreneurs.
